Next Server Update

Hey everyone!
The server has been a bit quiet the past few weeks, as almost everyone is waiting for the next server, so here's a little status update:
It looks like FTB Skyblock Expert won't be ready until next friday, so instead of choosing a different pack we decided to open up a small server to fill the gap. The server is running The Pioneers which is a 1.8.9 kitchensink pack you can download from the Curse Voice client.
Feel free to hop on, though keep in mind the server won't be around for longer than a few weeks at max, and is just meant as a playground to test out new mods! Chat is linked with the existing Infinity server, meaning both chats can be read on either server.

update on skyblock expert
someone on the FTB stream team had some news on the pack its delayed for some time as they decided to make infinity evolved into a monument map for release by popular vote
we are looking at different alternative packs now, if you have any pack recommendations that have been updated in the past 2 months post a reply

I know absolutely nothing about it but it has a decent amount of downloads and was updated 3/11/2016.
Skyblock City on the Curse launcher.
Looks like it might be interesting. I was really looking forward to a skyblock...

How playable is the pioneer pack that is already being run? -
Can I suggest something a little different than the typical kitchen sink pack? I would suggest Technofirma, which is a pack built around TerraFirmaCraft. It may be smaller, but it probably would be a welcome challenge for most players. Also it has some old favorites such as IC2, Immersive Engineering and Thaumcraft.

@Wolf Personaly I'm simply in love with mixing TFC with Immersive Engineering, much like a skyblock I'd say, theres some kind of progression, although its not explicitly forced. Plus the idea of starting as cave people hitting things with a flint spear, then going all the way up to a Q-armor or end game Arcane master excites me!

How playable is the pioneer pack that is already being run?
Very playable, just not that much content overall, but tons of new stuff to check out!

@portis321 I have no idea what you are talking about with regards to Project Ozone. I just started a Project Ozone single player map and it's a pretty standard skyblock with the twist of having chance cubes (like luckyblocks). I don't know where the whole super OP, super quick thing comes from. If you can give me some good reasoning behind your statement then maybe I will think twice but as of right now I have nothing against Project Ozone. The youtuber Hypnotizd recently started a lets play if anyone wanted to see any game play.
I only post this because I didn't want one, unsupported comment steering anyone away from what IMO is a perfect good/playable pack.
