Chickens throwing items when in Nesting pens

My chickens aren't outputting the items they produce in their pens... instead they just chuck it everywhere up to like 20 blocks away. It's definitely not supposed to do that

Nevermind, it's working as "intended" since 3.0.5,

there's definitely a bug there, with charset pipes it just voids the secondary item that spills on the ground with enderio conduits
for now just put a item collector nearby so it picks up the dropped items
