@drazuam we already had expert skyblock, dunno if theres still enough interest in that pack
hasn't been updated in a while either iirc, but I'll look into it -
Definitely wait for a 1.10 pack. Maybe a 1.10 skyblock?
-
@LogicEngineer I'd love this, unfortunately there aren't any good 1.10 packs out yet, plus we have the principium server which is on 1.10 and still getting updated quite frequently
-
I guess just an idea for the future then.

-
there is a 1.10.2 unabridged pack out looks pretty fun by the same autor as the 1.7.10 pack could be an idea
-
alright crackpack is offline, world download is available in the usual place https://www.stonebound.net/files/worlddls/
not quite sure yet what the next server will be, more suggestion wanted! -
a 1.10 expert mode pack?
-
@WaffleMynx is there one? I haven't seen anything like that for 1.10
-
@phit just looked and i can find one unfortunately, will be something to look forward to i guess.
-
@phit I was talking about regular infinity evolved expert, not infinity evolved skyblock; just clarifying
-
regular infinity evolved expert would be great, id rather wait for a 1.10 expert pack to come out before i do a 1.10 play through, goes by too fast otherwise.
-
Arbitrary has a pretty cool pack hes putting together. It's supposed to be a pack with a "vanilla" feel, but with expanded mechanics. Railcraft, buildcraft, etc. No "magic blocks" like the ones mfr provides. I'm not sure how close he is to having it playable, but it could be pretty fun.
-
Just out of curiosity when will the Principium server be reset?
-
@LogicEngineer not any time soon, the world is still pretty fresh since not many people played on it for a long time
-
Thanks @phit Riewest and I were debating just starting over in a new location but I wasn't sure if the server was going to be reset anytime soon.
-
I would personally be interested in a smaller quest pack while waiting for more 1.10 packs. I also agree with drazuam and WaffleMynx on the idea of regular Infinity Evolved Expert.
-
I'd like to try blightfall as a server/group effort.
-
I will throw my two cents in - i think a infinity evolved expert would be great. Lots of hours for the die hards who can afford the time.
Perhaps we could then run the second server on something like a small questish pack like others have suggested.
-
I would be fine with anything as well. I prefer the harder mods, and also enjoy the questbook ones too.
Me and my bro have been playing BR: Divergence mod, hard, but fun and rewarding.
Keep in touch. Ill stop by here an there, I have enjoyed gaming with you guys and gals.

Personally I like the idea of quest books for some of the more intricate mods that are hard to get into without watching a bunch of tutorials or having some sort of step by step guide needed to get things to run as efficiently as possible. As for the type of server, the thing that usually drives down player count is long-term playability and the speed at which items that turn the game from hardcore to baby's first video game are able to be acquired. After all if in less than 30 hours put into the server you're zipping around pretty much as if you were in creative mode there isn't much fun to the modpack. If there's a modpack that would keep the game fresh and interesting and definitely fun for a long time without causing lag/framerate issues with too large a map, or too many things gathered together, so that more people can be online at once I would definitely want to play that kind of modpack.
