Hi Names HoorayMe. I'm 51 living in the desert southwest of the US in Phoenix. I found the server listing on the FTB site and don't have any bans.
Now that all the requirements are out of the way. I've been playing Minecraft for some years I want to say I started playing around 1.7 but may have been earlier. Somewhere along the way I discovered modded Minecraft and more specifically direwolf.
Last year my better half to minecraft and we made some of our own modpack/server creations off of ones that I remembered and then looking through Curse at what was available at the time.
As for favorite mods, I think it's easier to say what mods I can't play without. A map mod for me is a must. Xaeros has been my preference for a while. Refined storage is miserable to play without although I can get by with Applied Energistics. I miss the bees from Forestry and all the breeding to create the different genomes. Lately I've been having fun with ARS nouveau, the early game "flight" is a bit overpowered. . . I never got into Create but have been having my mind blown watching some of the things you can do with it. I'm following Dire again with a new pack. Learning and relearning many of the mods.
I usually play later in the night starting at around 8-9pm MST (-7GMT) and on the weekends.
Other hobbies, when it's not blazing hot I'm usually found outdoors. I'm an avid gardner and like to go hiking/camping in the area.
