Some sort of distance restriction on carts?

Yeah, I can expand the range a player "activates" it a bit. But since a minecart is an entity it will work without players around, that's a vanilla restriction afaik.

Solved, Railcraft now ignores entity-activation-range. Thanks for reporting this!

Did you need to change this back? the activation range appears to have been reset.

I did not, but I noticed there is two different chest carts in the configs.
Your old one was a Railcraft one, now it also list the vanilla chest cart. I raised the range for that aswell now. Not sure how you even get the Railcraft one vs. the vanilla one. -
Could be something to do with Botania's mana cart, as that's the only non-railcraft cart i'm using.
