Ban misunderstanding

My ign is Optorch and I'd like to resolve an issue that I was banned for. The reason I was banned for was stealing, when in fact it was entirely the opposite. I know that there were items missing and that you found them in my chests but this was because I planned to report it later and I had to get some much needed sleep. I initially found the items floating in the ground in the spawn area and I didn't know where they went so I decide to store them to be returned later. I would much appreciate a ban appeal as I enjoy this server very much and wish to continue playing and being a good member.(sorry if this appeal is in the wrong section of the forums as I could not find a ban appeal section)
