Let me tell you a little about myself. I first got into Minecraft in late 2010 after playing Classic in the browser with my friends. After that, I went on to play through many seasons of SMP servers, enjoying years of community in several of them.
In game, my hobbies are exploring new features in every version, trying to build a new type of base every single playthrough, making transportation systems (roads, portal networks) and participating in in-game economies.
My other, non-Minecraft hobbies are cooking, reading, and playing casual games with my wife.Typically I play vanilla Minecraft. It's been a while since I've played a modpack! Some of the mods I've played in the past are FtB, Tekkit, Mo' Creatures, Dragon Mounts, The Aether, and Tetra's Tools, as well as various small but fun mods like the portal gun mod or the original pistons mod.
I've been looking for a new community recently after one of my old favorite servers retired, and my longtime Minecraft friend recommended you to me. I'm looking forward to trying All the Mods, and I hope you approve my application.

It's kind of a shame mods like Mo Creatures or Mo Creeps and Weirdos have sort of just disappeared. I mean there's alex's mobs, but they don't really scratch that alien itch both of them managed to achieve.
Modpack authors nowadays don't have the balls to add a mod with an ogre that destroys people's houses.
