How I found out about you: Monkeybug34 told me about you. I've played Minecraft with him on a private server before and am hoping to join him here.
I got into Minecraft in early beta, when a cousin of mine introduced me to it, and I've been playing off and on ever since. Most of my minecraft experience has been solo vanilla play, combining large-scale automation and architecture. I've only been getting into modded more recently, and my favourites have probably been mekanism and refined storage, but I always enjoy finding new ones to tinker around with. I've been playing around quite a bit with ATM 8 in my solo play, as it allows a lot of experimentation. I've had a lot of time to play minecraft lately, as I was hit with long-term illness a couple years back and forced into early retirement/disability due to an inability to work. It is one of a very few things I can still do. Hopefully I can be a part of this community and maintain a bit more of a "social life" here, as my condition can be pretty isolating.

ATM8 huh, word of warning ATM9 has gregtech in it which is not a easy mod.

@KH3_Sora Hey, thanks for the add. I have been tinkering around a bit with atm9, although not much, as it's still pretty buggy. Probably get into it more as it gets closer to full release.
