Inf Lite Magma Slime islands not spawning (Nether, TiC)

I can't find any magma slime islands in the nether - have been searching for a LONG time. It seems like they are possibly not generating? Or the world was generated in a previous version or such. I just hopped into a SSP world and they are around, but for some reason none at all on the server.
I am after a magma slime ball so it's really frustrating that I can't find one! -
I added magma slime block recipe, they are indeed not generating due to a bug with SpongeForge.
