• Hey, I'm brucethemoose!

    Age: 26

    Country: USA

How I found y'all: I saw the Creation Youtube video by chance, looked for an official server, and found this one!

    Ban history: None

Misc info: I'm a MC player from Texas, with some recently acquired free time. I've played Minecraft on and off like any respectable person my age, but I really got into Forge MC back in... thinks hard... 1.6.4, I believe, on the incredible, amazing (and sadly defunct) OTE Resonant Rise whitelist server. I lapsed once everyone moved past 1.8, though I've kept up with the community over the years. I fondly remember the 1.7.10 days of Big Reactors, AE2, Enhanced Portals, Galacticraft, Ender IO, Chisel, Blood Magic and such, back when they were all hot new mods, but I've seen some incredible things on CurseForge since then.

IRL, I'm working on a career in programming! I know Python, a bit of Java and ARM Assembly, and have an interest in Rust and highly parallel languages like Futhark, OpenCL, CUDA, C++ extensions and so on, as well as conventional and AI video/image processing. I'm also a PC hardware and semi industry nerd!

The Stonebound community looks great, and the Kreation pack looks just right for my aging laptop, given that I'm away from my desktop atm. I hope you have room in your community to squeeze one more person in!

  • *Also, I should mention that I'm familiar with etiquette on a whitelist server. OTE had a community "tickboard of shame" setup with OpenComputers that would show the most problematic entities in the slowest chunks, and I made a hobby of hunting them down and politely showing newbies the error of their ways.

Hello, and thank you for your interest in our server.
Unfortunately, we have decided to decline your application.
I wish you the best of luck in finding a server that is suitable for you.

  • @phit That is... disappointing.

Well, I'll stick around the Discord anyway. Maybe there will be some room when 1.15 (or later updates) rolls out 🙂
