Hello! I'm a 17 y.o student from Brazil. I found you guys by searching for an antimatter chemistry server. I've been playing minecraft since beta 1.8 if I remember correctly, but I stopped playing around 1.7.10 and only now came back to the game. I never was and I'm still not very knowledgeable about modded minecraft, since I played mostly vanilla and sometimes exploration/not-tech-heavy packs like the original Hexxit. I'm eager to learn more about modded minecraft in general, and I believe playing multiplayer and interacting with other people who are way more well versed in modded will help me tremendously.
I'm currently a senior in high school, and I plan on going to an Software Engineering college. I spend most of my time during the weekdays at school, so I often only have time to play videogames during the weekends. Some of my hobbies are: Music (I play the electric bass and the guitar), programming, and playing videogames.
I don't play multiplayer often, but I've never been banned from any servers. My favorite mod of all time is probably Clay Soldiers, I just had so much fun organizing battles and doing tournaments. I also really like Cyclic, Actually Additions and Extra Utilities. I haven't got too far on any modpack, but I'm sure I would enjoy playing in this community.

I agree that other players can help learning how to use the mods, as long as they don't do everything for you.
Clay Soldiers was an outstanding mod, I had a fun time playing around with it a couple years ago.
